Jenna Clifford Valentines Function February 2009

Jenna Clifford celebrated Valentine’s Day this year by hosting a high profile, “by invitation only” event for VIP clients, celebrities and key members of the media.

 The event theme was inspired by the romance of Argentina and Buenos Aires, home of the Tango dance. As a result, guests indulged in a hot and sultry night, where music, food, drink and dance combined to create an atmosphere of passion, love and fun!

 The Jenna Clifford Valentines Day event is a highlight on the Johannesburg social calendar. The company has been hosting the event since its inception 17 years ago.

 The event took place at the Jenna Clifford studio in Morningside. The luxurious surroundings and baroque-style décor provided the backdrop for a magical and memorable evening that included a line-up of beautiful Tango dancers and a performance by local music group, Navi Redd.

 The involvement of select partners added to the event’s highlights. Jenna Clifford invited several luxury brands to participate in the proceedings and VIP guests enjoyed a Piper Heidsieck champagne bar, as well as low calorie cocktails by Stirrr, a mobile bar service run by a group of young South African entrepreneurs in partnership with Canderel.

 Fragrance and beauty company, Thierry Mugler, pampered guests with hand massages and Jaguar cars showcased some of its latest releases.

 To round off the experience, guests received fabulous goody bags, packed with an exciting range of gifts, including Lindt chilli chocolate and travel size gift packs of Paul Mitchell, hair-care, and OPI Products, nail-care.

 Jenna Clifford’s branding and event agency of choice, The Red Phone, coordinated the event and is handling all media and PR activities.
