THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGNS
TECHNOGIRL JOB SHADOWING PROGRAM
For the first time in the TechnoGirl Trust’s 21-year journey, learners have been introduced to the world of fine jewellery through this partnership with Barbie™ and Jenna Clifford. Three students — Thuso, Motheo, and Rofhatutshedziwa — joined us for the campaign photoshoot, where they shared their voices, stories and aspirations alongside two inspiring TechnoGirl alumni, Sandisa and Olerato.
Three learners from the TechnoGirl Programme will visit Jenna Clifford for an immersive job-shadowing experience. They will spend time across our studios, rotating between departments to explore both the artistry and business of our brand. From accounting, stock control and marketing to niche creative fields like jewellery design, photography and videography, the learners will gain hands-on insight into the many layers of running a creative legacy business.
Guided by our team and mentored by Chanelle and Summer, this experience marks a milestone first for TechnoGirl: exposure to the world of fine jewellery and all it encompasses — a reminder that their dreams are not only valid, but within reach.
